How To Determine Your Skin Type

How To Determine Your Skin Type

Hello, my beautiful friends. Hope your day is going well. Today, I am going to talk about two simple methods which will help you find out, what is your skin type without doing a skin test at the comforts of your home.
So, basically there are four skin types- Normal skin, oily skin, dry skin and combination skin. Before following any skincare routine you should know which product is for which skin type. Knowing your skin type will help you treat your skin, give you an idea about the products you should use and also help you get that perfect skin you always wanted to. So let me tell you the 2 simple methods you can use to find out your skin type....

Step 1. This first method is really simple and my fav. So, what you have to do is when you get up in the morning and before washing your face with water, just go in front of a mirror and check which part of your face is oily and which part of your face is dry. This way you will easily find out what is your skin type.

Step 2. The second method is also simple as the first one. Remove your makeup and wash your face with your regular cleanser and pat dry, wait for an hour to return your skin to its normal state and then take a blotting paper or a regular tissue paper and just dab it on the areas where you see shine and oilyness and this way you will get the idea where your skin is oily and where your skin is dry.

Determining skin types:- There are four types of skin- Normal skin, Oily skin, Dry skin and Combination skin. Now you can use any of the two methods to help you know what is your skin type, so let start

Normal skin type:-   If you see your over all skin is neither oily and nor you have flakey skin and your skin feels soft, smooth and supple. It means you have normal skin type.

Oily skin type:- If all of your face is oily and shiny like your forehead, nose, cheek area and chin area are oily then you have oily skin type.

Dry skin type:- If you see overall your face is dry like your forehead, nose, cheek area and chin area is dry and have flakey skin it means you have dry skin.

Combination skin type:- If you see your Tzone area oily means your forehead area, nose and chin area oily and rest of your face dry then you have combination skin.

And that is how easily you can find what your skin type is by using the two simple methods.. That is all for this blog post dear friends, I hope you like it and find it usefull... Feel free to share this post with your friends and yes leave your comments and suggestios... Will love to hear from your all.... :)

                                                                                                                              With love,

Dryness, itchyness and all that skin issues has actually made my skin go through a bad phase..
